Clay Christmas Gnomes
Sunday, November 22
Build an adorable holiday themed gnome to decorate your home with. Ceramic artist Kasia Piech will teach you how to build yourself a ceramic Christmas gnome from clay. This workshop is great for both beginners to clay as well as those who have worked with clay before. You will learn the basics of hand building with clay slabs, coils and pinch pots and use your new skills to create your gnome. Participants will use colourful clay slips and glazes to decorate their gnomes. Finished projects will be fired in a pottery kiln and ready for pickup in time for the start of the holiday season. Your festive character will be a great addition to your holiday décor this year!
All materials are included in this class. Please wear a smock or old shirt to protect your clothing.
