The Thunder Bay Art Gallery is excited to welcome our new Development Lead, Katherine Couzelis. Katherine comes to the Gallery with years of experience working in event planning and coordination with an entrepreneurial background that highlights her extensive project management and development skills. Key areas of focus include community relationship building and development of gallery fundraising.

“I am honoured to be a part of the Thunder Bay Art Gallery’s incredible team” Katherine said, “and am beyond excited to apply my skills and experiences to develop an organization that has a tremendous benefit in our community. Being born and raised in the Thunder Bay, I have witnessed firsthand this life changing impact throughout the lives of many of my closest friends. To be an integral part of that type of influence, within my own community, brings me a considerable amount of pride.

As the Development Lead, I am growing current funding streams across the entire organization and implementing a variety of innovative fundraising strategies. With the NEW Thunder Bay Art Gallery under construction at its iconic waterfront location, we are preparing for the most significant growth this non-profit organization has ever undertaken. As we take this giant step, I invite the community to be a part of our journey towards building Thunder Bay’s very own world-class visual art’s cultural center.“
