Submission Policy
The Thunder Bay Art Gallery’s exhibition programming is primarily invitational. However, the Gallery occasionally accepts unsolicited artist’s portfolios, guest curator projects and traveling exhibitions.
Please note that the Gallery’s schedule is usually set 12–16 months in advance by the Curator.
Please allow for 5–6 months for a response. Email and/or paperless (CD/DVD) submissions are strongly encouraged. Hardcopy submissions may also be delivered to the Gallery in person or by mail.
Please provide the following information:
Contact information
Name, mailing address, telephone number, email, and link to website.
Artist resume and statement
A brief description of the nature of the individual pieces or the collection of proposed works to be considered or any information that is connected to the submission.
Images
Submit a maximum of 10 high resolution digital images. These images may be submitted on a CD/DVD (Please send especially in the case of film, video, and new media works). Please include a support material list with visuals—name of artist, title of work, medium, and dimensions of original work.
Incomplete submissions will not be viewed
Only submissions with a self-addressed stamped envelope will be returned
