Everlasting Garden: Karly Huitsing

Sept 27, 2024 >> Jan 5, 2025

In her first public gallery exhibition floral artist Karly Huitsing creates a large-scale everlasting garden. This installation is an original design of flowers, grasses, and plants she grows, cuts, and dries on her small-scale cut flower farm in the Slate River Valley. Growing her practice in new ways, Huitsing’s dried floral creations share her love of flowers and the beauty of the northern garden.

About the Artist:

Karly Huitsing grew up on a farm in Murillo, Ontario. Three years ago, she started her cut flower garden and floral business, All in Bloom, in the Slate River Valley, just outside Thunder Bay. Inspired by the love of flowers she shared with her grandmother, her cut flower farm is a natural place for creative visioning, growth, and collaboration with friends and family. Her everlasting designs are made with flowers she grows, cuts, and dries by hand.
