OAC Indigenous Arts Grant Information Session
Calling all Indigenous artists/artisans/makers, organizations, and communities!
Join Ontario Arts Council staff Erika Iserhoff, Indigenous Arts & Northern Arts Officer and Alana Forslund, Northwestern representative for an information session about Indigenous Arts funding opportunities at the OAC.
This session is hosted by the Thunder Bay Art Gallery.
The OAC has grants that can help support Indigenous artists in Ontario with activities such as:
- Creating new artwork
- Developing your skills as an artist through mentorships/workshops
- Offering arts and cultural workshops for the community/for schools
- Arts festivals, events, showcases, and gatherings
- And more!
OAC supports a wide range of art disciplines that include (but aren’t limited to):
- Craft
- Visual arts
- Media Arts
- Theatre
- Dance
- Music
- Literature
Coffee/tea will be available in the gallery lobby prior to the session.
