Media Release – Fresh Perspectives Secondary School Exhibition

Celebrate the artwork of students from Thunder Bay and the region. For over 30 years, the Thunder Bay Art Gallery has hosted this annual secondary school art exhibition in conjunction with Lakehead Public Schools, the Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board, and regional high schools. 2019 participation includes artworks from Nipigon-Red Rock District High School, St. Ignatius High School, St. Patrick High School, Superior Collegiate and Vocational Institute, and Westgate Collegiate & Vocational Institute.

Fresh Perspectives showcases youth creativity and personal expression through a variety of media, materials, technologies, tools, and techniques including painting, sculpture, digital art, drawing, stitching, and more. Guests to the exhibition are invited to choose a favourite work for the People’s Choice Award.
