Visit the Thunder Bay Art Gallery to take part in interactive creative activities during Culture Days 2020 from SEPT 25 to OCT 25.
Come to the Gallery to participate and create. We welcome everyone who wishes to participate in these physical distancing friendly activities.
Postcards to my Community Project
In this project we’re asking participants to think of a community they are a part of that is important to them and create a postcard to that community.
Pick up a blank postcard from the Gallery to work on, or print a postcard template from our website at home. To create your own Postcard to your Community, use the template as a starting point to write, draw, paint, collage, scribble, embroider, and create with whatever is at hand a message to your community. We will share the completed postcards in either a digital or physical exhibition after the end of Culture Days.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
1. Design your postcard.
2. Write a message to your community /friends /family /neighbourhood /city /etc. about what you love about your community. How is it important to you?
3. Return your postcard in person or by mail to:
