The Thunder Bay Art Gallery invites you to enter the 2025 Christian Chapman Art Raffle for your chance to win a one-of-a-kind original painting by the celebrated Anishinaabe artist and 2025 Sobey Art Award nominee, Christian Chapman.

Christian Chapman, of Fort William First Nation, is known for his striking portraiture and mixed-media works that honour Anishinaabe identity, cultural memory, and Indigenous futurism. His recent nomination for the Sobey Art Award—Canada’s most prestigious contemporary art prize—recognizes his outstanding contributions to visual arts in the North and across the country.

This raffle offers a rare opportunity to own an original piece by an artist whose practice is deeply rooted in our region and who is shaping the future of Indigenous art in Canada.
