Looking Through the Eyes of an Artist is an ongoing project supported by the NOHFC (Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Committee) to make our Permanent Collection accessible to educators in the region. Teachers can use this resource to provide their students with exposure to regionally and culturally relevant artworks. Each lesson provides an exciting cross-curricular art project.
Thanks to Dr. Lisa Korteweg of Lakehead University’s Faculty of Education for her involvement with the project. We would also like to acknowledge the feedback from teachers in the Lakehead Public and Catholic School Boards.
Permanent Collection Lesson Plans will be available for educators early 2015. Please check back for details.
