Leo Yerxa: Impermanence

For over forty years, Anishnawbe author and artist Leo Yerxa has had a diverse artistic life. As an author of children’s books, he has been recognized for his poeticism and evocative illustrations. In his art, he has approached an array of themes and subject matter on canvas and paper. Leo Yerxa: Impermanence explores the Gallery’s significant holdings of the artist’s watercolour work from the 1970’s and 80’s.
