Drop In Studio Thursday April 19

If you’re still into hunkering indoors this spring and need a little art and company, come to the Thunder Bay Art Gallery. The casual, Adult Drop-In Studio Sessions are only $7.00 person/session. All abilities welcome, so don’t be hesitant!

Each session we’ve been trying out different mediums and techniques with the Gallery’s creative team. This Thursday afternoon we’re going to play with conté crayons. Did you know that conté crayons were invented in 1795 by Nicolas-Jacques Conté, who used a combination of clay and graphite to create drawing sticks in response to the shortage of graphite caused by the Napoleonic Wars?
